Bear Breaks Into Hospital – Nurse Brought to Tears by What It Carries in Its Mouth

Hana’s gaze stayed locked on the writhing shapes, her skin prickling under the eerie glow of their eyes.

They weren’t bear cubs. And they weren’t safe. Takashi continued, urgency in his tone, “If that one you saw was injured, these might be hurt too. We can’t leave them here.”

Memories of the wounded creature in the hospital flashed before Hana’s eyes—its silent plea for help. She straightened, her voice steady. “Then we save them. If the bear brought us here, it’s because it knew we could.”

Hana cupped her hands and called down, “I’m getting you and those creatures out! Hold on!”

Her gaze darted around until she spotted a sturdy tree nearby. Racing toward it, she looped the rope around its trunk, pulling it tight before knotting it three times.

She leaned back to test it, then shouted, “Takashi, it’s secure! Pass them up one at a time—I’ll keep them safe.”

“Got it! First one’s coming up!” Takashi’s voice echoed from deep inside the well.

Hana leaned forward, holding her breath as a small, trembling creature emerged from the shadows below, cradled in a makeshift sling fashioned from Takashi’s jacket. As he neared the top, she reached down and gently lifted the frightened animal to safety.
“You’re safe now, little one,” she whispered, setting it on a soft patch of blankets she had hastily arranged.

Trip after trip, Takashi descended into the darkness, each climb back up leaving his arms taut and his breath short. Hana’s nerves buzzed every time the rope swayed, but it held strong. With each rescue, relief bloomed inside her.
