Flight Attendant Sees Her Father On The Plane – What She Discovers Next Leaves Her Reeling!
Natalie’s stomach flipped. She didn’t need to ask who “he” was. She already knew.
She steadied herself, then walked toward him.
“Hello, Winston—uh, sir… I’m sorry,” she stammered. “I didn’t mean to spill the coffee earlier. I was just… surprised to see you.”
He looked at her with mild confusion, no flicker of recognition in his eyes.
“Anyway,” he said, offering a small, apologetic smile, “I just wanted to make sure you’re okay. I was a bit harsh earlier, and I could tell you were tense. Is everything alright?”
Natalie’s breath caught. Didn’t he know who I am?
No recognition. No warmth. Just polite concern from a stranger wearing her father’s face.
Was he losing his memory? Or was this a stranger, and she was the one losing her mind?
Forcing herself to stay composed, she said, “Thank you for your concern, sir. I’m fine. Is there anything else I can do for you?”
He shook his head, then reached for his wallet. “One moment,” he said, pulling out a small white card. “Here’s my business card. I ruined your dress,”—he gestured at the coffee stain—“my secretary will reimburse you.”
“Oh, that’s not necessary,” Natalie replied quickly.
“I insist,” he said, pressing the card into her hand.
She managed a tight smile. “Thank you, sir. Have a nice day.”
She turned on her heel and hurried back to the galley, her hands trembling. It felt like she’d just seen a ghost—a ghost with her father’s eyes.
She needed to talk to someone before she convinced herself she’d gone mad.
“Cassandra?” she called softly.
One glance at Natalie’s pale, shaken face was enough. Cassandra’s sternness melted into concern. “Talk to me.”
